Advent Calendar: Day 18 (belated) for hamarakissa

My plans to resist stepping foot inside any shopping establishment until Boxing Day have been thwarted. Saturday after my massage I had to run to work to get a late ad in for my boss, which was fine and I earned 4.5 hours of OT for about 20 minutes of work, but I stopped to get a coffee first and HOLY HELL PEOPLE. The drivers are the WORST right now. I hate the drivers from the province next to us on a normal day but during holidays it's like every single one of them left their brains at home, too.

Today I treated mom to brunch at the restaurant in the mall because I had a gift certificate and I figured I should use it up now because after the surgery it'll be out. Then we prowled around the mall so she could look for boots but we escaped once church let out and it started to fill up. Came home, shoveled from the snow we've had, took out the garbage, did some laundry and then I had a DELIGHTFUL nap with Gracie. It's been a damn good day!

Hooray, I have another (late) day done for the Advent calendar! Woo!
