I opened the refrigerator to get out some red grapes and there was a black widow in the package! It was either an immature female or a male (because it was brown with yellow and red stripes on the back), but it had the red hourglass on the underside, haphazard web and was hanging upside down. I had a dream last night that I had a baby girl, and we named her Anna Faustina. Upon waking I thought this was a beautiful name, one that I had not considered at all when we were looking at girls' names. I measured Dominic yesterday, and to my surprize he grew an entire inch in just over one month. To put this in perspective, it took him ten months to grow his last two inches. We didn't make it to Good Friday service tonight. Dominic slept horribly last night, which is really no different than it has been the past two weeks or so. However, you can visibly tell he is tired, and plus today he was acting out a lot. Since we have to go to the Easter Vigil tomorrow night, we decided to stay home. I think we must be half mad, but we take our young children to the Easter Triduum. Tonight's Holy Thursday Mass was wonderful, the children were excellent, and the Mass was amazing, as usual. For the first time though we went with the crowd into the place of repose for the Blessed Sacrament and knelt and prayed for at least ten to fifteen minutes ( Read more... )

I first heard of these amazing guitar players from my brother-in-law, and I ordered their CD almost immediately. We have been listening to their cd almost non-stop since then (almost four months), and I am super excited to see that they were on Letterman and other late night shows before Christmas.
