I forgot to update after the whole 'I'm going into surgery!' thing... sorry if I left anybody hanging. :( Anyway, I'm fine. I spent a week in-hospital and the last week at home bored off my head, and will probably be spending another week recuperating before getting back to work. Hello LJ folks! Just wanted to let everyone know that I'm having surgery this morning (incisional hernia from my surgical incision last year, bleh). My doctors are great and I'm sure I'll be fine. I'll post again as soon as I wake up, get access to an Internet connection, and sober up enough from the painkillers to do so. :D

State of the Mari - feeling just fine. Stitches come out Wednesday, hoping to be back at work after that. It's been a decent enough little forced vacation, but I'm getting cabin fever.
