Well it is day two of my hiatus and boy, what a day it has been. I got my scholarship stuff mailed out which was good, made some business calls, made last minute arrangements for the UCR Day event tomorrow and hung out with friends at the radio station. It's been another long time since I've been able to sit down and write in this journal. Between my father's funeral, the new puppy, my old computer dying, getting the new computer set up and the old one fixed, and then stuff happening at school, my life has been running top notch once again. I never thought it would happen this soon, but sadly, today is the day my father passed away. I'm definitely going to miss him lots. The past few months have been rough and I wish the outcome was different but part of me is relieved that it's over, for his sake and for the family's sake. Well, day two of the anime convention wasn't as good as the first one. We still did a lot, shopped, watched another AMV screening and even watched the whole cosplay masquerade (and I already forgot if that's the correct spelling of the word or not). Today was a day for classes and getting myself mentally prepared for the AnimeNEXT convention tomorrow. We did an in-class essay today which I think I did pretty well in.
