Day # 1 at AnimeNEXT
Day 1
I'm going to do this entry like Lance did his for Fanime. :) Anyway, this was the first day of the convention and I went really late. Why? Nothing good was really happening in the morning, lol. So we got in my car, my dad and I, and we headed toward the convention. What would've been a 30-45 minute drive turned into an hour due to Friday rush hour traffic. Stupid people. >_< But we got there and looked around the dealers room. I bought myself a Gundam Wing T-shirt to go with my music video and then we headed to the anime music video watching.
They started very late and we waited on line to get in for 45 minutes, but we did finally get in. Everyone's AMV was fantastic. I'm pretty sure I'm NOT going to win, lol. But people seemed to really like mine too. I even got the very selective screamers in the back of the room and got a very good reaction from the entire crowd. I think I might be in the running but again, don't think I'll win. People did a whole lot better than me, lol. But it's okay. From just the reaction of the crowd when they saw mine made me felt I win. So even if I don't win the contest, I know people liked it. And that's all that really matters to me. :)
After that we went home but we plan to go tomorrow for the contest winner announcement and to buy some more stuff. Stay tuned for the second and last installment of ANIMENEXT JOURNAL ENTRIES FROM BEYOND?!
