Another Chapter in life Begins...

It's been another long time since I've been able to sit down and write in this journal. Between my father's funeral, the new puppy, my old computer dying, getting the new computer set up and the old one fixed, and then stuff happening at school, my life has been running top notch once again. It's been so stressful that I'm on hiatus/questing once again. And, like last time (since this is now my first official day), I'm loving it! I love the spare time I now have on my hands to do whatever I wish. To go to bed early, wake up early, have some coffee, play with the puppy and get some exercise. I'm definitely enjoying the temporary lifestyle.

I say temporary because I know myself. I will go back to the way things were once I'm able to control myself a bit better. And the reason I'm really even writing in here is to keep a promise to write down my little quest so my loved ones can know I'm alright. Besides, it will be nice to know someone is actually reading this now! And, also, to have a record of my mini adventure.

To go on about what has been happening the past few months would not only be painful but would take forever, so let's just say it was depressing, sad, different, and okay. Basically just surviving. The few highlights of the past few months was the arrival of the new german short-hair pointer puppy named Kiba, my induction into the Psi Beta Honor Society and my new computer I'm typing this entry on, respectively named, "Beastie."

So, onto the start of my little hiatus. I started the day getting up a little later than I had originally planned. Got up around 1 PM instead of noon, like I had originally planned, but I was up late saying my goodbyes, so I wasn't that surprised. I got right onto the computer and was amazed on how much work I got done with myself being shut off from everyone. I got some street team e-mails out, worked on scholarship applications, arranged an interview for a summer internship at a radio station and burned some CDs I needed to burn along with doing some computer work on "Oldie" (now the name of my older computer) and the laptop. After that, my mother had cooked some steak and fettuccini for lunch, which I gobbled up. I then printed out some of the work I had just did, put on my driving glasses and headed to class.

Miraculously, like the first time in a while, I WAS ON TIME! I was actually sitting in the classroom waiting for the professor to get in. So I attended both my classes and luckily, the last class got out a half an hour early! I rushed home just in time to be able to play with Hershey and Kiba before it got dark outside. I then went inside and, for the first time, cooked myself some lightly fried fish (not sure what kind as it was some my dad vacu-paked and was in the freezer for a long time). But, it wasn't bad, so, I fried it and ate it with some of the remaining fettuccini and green beans. Yes, I actually ate a vegetable. It actually was quite delicious and would have it again! After that, I watched TV with my mother, ate some ice cream, and just vegged out for the night.

Now, I'm here, writing this entry, contemplating whether to go straight to bed, or take a nice bath and THEN go to bed. Who knows? I'm feeling CRAZY! lol Anyway, the more time I take up here talking, the less of a chance of the second option. So that ends it for Day 1. Onto day 2 now! Later! :)
