Well.

The government was looking into my eligibility to live here in Amerika. Again. Suffice to say, through the usual jumping through hoops, I am able to remain for a while longer if not entirely legally; in my opinion, the entire process is as slow as the Seima's approval on dual citizenship...

I think, now that I look back at it... my life was already more like a romance novel than it needed to be. Really. I can handle my family breaking in without warning, but thieves? Dressed as pirates? Given the degree of their dental health, they were fairly convincing to be honest..
