I've been back in Kentucky for a couple months now. I am waiting for the FBI to get done with my background check and send it to the KY Board of Nursing. Since KY is a compact state, it will mean that I will be able to practice as an LPN in 25 states. That's kinda cool ( Read more... )

I have spent the last year in Miami, living with my folks, and attending a Practical Nursing program. My children have been with me. Currently, I am in my Kentucky house for the winter holiday. I go to school. I hang out with my kids. Sometimes I cook. I do a lot of studying. I talk to my husband every day on the telephone. Usually I talk with him more than once. I had to remove staples out of a woman's head the other day. This woman was about 67 years old. You could tell that there were issues going on with her brain injuries, but she was still with it in a lot of ways.
