And OH! I meant to say, sorry for all the stress. :( I can imagine how such a big move would be stressful. Hope that it goes well, though, and I'm sure you'll be glad once it's over, eh?

a. What initially prompted me to like the character enough to write about him/her.

Actually... Chuck Austen. (Please don't throw things!) It was during Austen's run on X-Men that Northstar was brought in to work at the Academy and I loved him. Austen may have had some issues, but he wrote a wonderfully bitchy JP. So anyway, the potential Iceman/Northstar made me go read fics about that pairing and I always meant to write one myself but I never got around to it. Then when JP showed up in Ultimate as this little scenester-looking kid (his short hair was perfect! I don't dig the long hair so much. He looks too much like Forge) I nearly had a fit and when Kirkman ripped us off of his and Piotr's date I was fed up enough to finally work the guy into a fic.

And I started writing him at TM cos eldee made me. Hee. (My sister was shocked - she thought for sure I'd apply for Chamber.)

b. One of his/her best traits.

This is a hard question because he's pretty horrible.
Hmmm. His loyalty.

c. One of his/her worst traits.His ego. Here is a man who ( ... )

HIS NAME IS THE CAPTAIN!

a. What initially prompted me to like the character enough to write about him/her.

I haven't, actually. But I loved him since the "singing a truly filthy song by the Sex PIstols" line.

b. One of his/her best traits.

The fact that he's just an average guy.

c. One of his/her worst traits.

His receding hairline. Poor Captain.

d. How easy/difficult I find it to write the character.

I bet he'd be really, really hard. Unless he was paired with Monica or Machine Man.

e. The story/chapter/paragraph/phrase where I feel that I truly captured the character.

*laughs* N/A

f. My plans (if any) to write the character in the near future.

I don't anticipate doing so... unless I get drunk and decide to do like, 'The Return of Dirk Anger!'

books, i'm sure they bread in the dark corners of the room. it's a slow process, so slow you don't notice it. then, when it comes to move you're left scratching your head, thinking, 'i'm sure i only had a couple of boxes when i moved in...'

I think because you adjusted to the idea faster. I didn't believe I was really doing it until about, oh. TODAY.

Iceman:

a. What initially prompted me to like the character enough to write about him/her.

I liked his whole issue with being the class clown VS his desire to be treated as an adult. Also, his bad sunglasses in Poptopia made me laugh a lot.

b. One of his/her best traits.

His sense of humour, obviously!

c. One of his/her worst traits.

He can be such a little bitch. I mean, seriously. "I am severed head but I am insulting you, Alex! NYAH!"

d. How easy/difficult I find it to write the character.

Easy, because all the really dumbassed things that pop into my head? I CAN USE! :D

e. The story/chapter/paragraph/phrase where I feel that I truly captured the character.

I think I nailed him pretty good in "It Could be Sunshine" actually. Especially his line about CPAs not getting much action.

f. My plans (if any) to write the character in the near future.Uncertain. I've been out of 616 canon so long I doubt I could hop ( ... )
