I read about half of it on the bus ride home.

It's amazing and FUNNY. Go buy it or borrow it. Read it, anyway.

Even when I was a kid, I knew R.L. Stine sucked balls. (He always weaseled out of a decent scare, the bastard.) Granted I started reading Stephen King in grade four, but STILL. Currently reading Not in Kansas Anymore: a curious tale of how magic is transforming America by Christine Wicker. I'm only about a quarter of the way through, but it's not bad. The title pretty much explains what it's about, and the book opens with the author's experience at a vampire party.
