Summer, summer.. where are you?

late in the evenings. historically this has been the time of day when i write in here. its 2am and i couldn't stop cleaning the house, so i took a zopiclone, and its kicking in., oh boy...goodnight. heres a raincheck though, the mood has struck me.

today a patient was getting out of bed when he became really *really* breathless. his oxygen levels sank into his boots. and he says, "i want..a cigarette..just one". and then he passes out and hits the floor. the nurse calls a code and 20 people show up to revive him. he goes to the icu and dies an hour later. famous last words.
