Summary: Dani's memories came back. She's not handling them well.

The nurse continued her brisk walk down the hallway, hands clenched at her side and a scowl set on her face. Now, she wasn't angry at the two patients, but she was worried. She wasn't sure how to deal with a patient that was acting this way, since it was only her second day here, but she would figure it out easily. Very easily.

Once she reached the room she was looking for, she stopped in front of the door then grasped onto the door handle and pushed the door open, stepping into the room quickly yet silently. Midna went right to work, checking her bag for everything that she might need. If she had to rush the girl to the ER, then she wanted to be sure it would be possible with no problems.

She stepped towards the girl that was curled on the bed, stopping when she was only a few feet away and glancing towards the other woman in the room, her red eyes flashing slightly. ``You must be Yuuko,`` she commented.

"I am." Yuuko said, still looking at Dani. "She's been awake all night. It was a little after our other roommate late that she ended up in this state." She explained. "She'll lash out if you get too close. She looks terrified of anyone who gets close."

Dani whimpered, burying her face against her knees, hands moving to the back of her head, the sleeve riding up on the top, exposing the old scars from what looked like burns and glass. More of an explosion affect then made on purpose.

Midna sighed heavily, fighting off the urge to screech like she did sometimes. She couldn't do that since she was in a room with patients and it could frighten them, but later, she just might have to do it. This was frustrating already.

She lifted her hand and rested it against her forehead, as if she had a headache. After a few moments, the two toned girl lowered her hand and brushed her hair out of her face, eyeing the scars on Dani's arm before reaching out to take hold of her wrist, not caring if she was lashed out at. She could handle it because she was stronger than she looked.

``How long as she had those scars?`` she questioned, eyes still looking over the markings curiously.

Dani smacked away her hand, jerking away as soon as she came within an inch of her. "NO! I CAN'T LEAVE!" She shouted, looking up at Midna fearfully.

"They were scars long before she came here. She usually hides them." Yuuko said, tensing up. Dani wasn't reacting well at all.

The nurse held back another scowl, her mouth forming a tight line before she shifted to pin down Dani's arm with her knee, glad that she had worn pants for the day. Once she had her free hand, she lifted it and reached into her pocket, pulling out the small needle and of course, making sure it was the correct one. It wouldn't do for her to kill a patient on her second day.

It was right, though she still didn't want to sedate the girl, she also didn't want Dani to hurt herself or anyone else. Perhaps her doctor and therapist could help more than she could. She made sure she held the smaller female tight and moved the needle to Dani's arm, quickly injecting her with the liquid then releasing her.

Moving off the bed afterwards, Midna placed the empty needle back and looked down at the floor, making sure she didn't snap at Yuuko, no matter how bad she wanted to. It wasn't her fault anyway's.

"No! No! Stop it!" Dani cried, struggling to try and break free after Midna pinned her and she screamed and earsplitting scream when the needle was inserted. She continued to try and break free until the sedative took affect. "Please...I don't want to be someone else..."

Yuuko watched Dani sadly. "So it was self induced..." She said quietly.

Midna couldn't help the sad frown that crossed her face, her head shaking slowly while she watched the girl then sighed softly. ``I'm so sorry, Danielle. There was nothing else that I could do for you at the moment. . .`` She stepped away from the bed and lifted her hand, resting it against her neck in thought.

Though, Yuuko's comment made her look over, an eyebrow raising in curiousity. ``So, you think she cut or tried to change the way she looked herself?``

"No." Yuuko said, looking at Dani's arms. Those were too random to be self inflicted. At least in a stable state of mind. "Ironic, considering how valuable memories are."

He knew it was a girl's room, and he didn't care that he would get in trouble for it. What he didn't know, though, was why he was even bothering. Dani was just another patient, albeit one that looked almost identical to him but younger and female. So why was he suddenly going to visit her, all because of a journal entry he saw of hers?

Too late to think about that now.

He knocked on the door once, lightly, before stepping in, eyes still half-lidded as though drugged to the point of partial consciousness. "Dani? What's going on?"

Yuuko looked over at Danny. "She's already been sedated." She said, studying the boy. He wasn't hostile. Was he...worried? That was a change. "Midna, this is the boy she looks like."

Midna turned when she heard the knocking on the door, her eyebrows raising at the sight of the boy. She was shocked at how much this boy looked like Danielle, it was sort of frightening. So, this was Danny then?

Bringing her hand up, she pressed it against her chest and bowed towards the boy, eyes shutting in the process. Being polite always paid off in the end, so she would just stick with that then. ``Hello Danny. My name is Midna,`` she paused, looking back over her shoulder towards Danielle.

After a few moments, she spoke again, shaking her hair from her face with a soft smile. ``Do you know this girl and if so, how do you know her?``

Midna...a new staff member he hadn't seen before. She obviously hadn't been here before, not last week. Yet here she was, taking charge.

"Midna..." He muttered the name softly, as if he had to recite it to remember it. His eyes glanced from Midna to the sedated Dani, not quite sure which person to focus on. Finally, he decided on one of the beds in the room. "I met her here. I..." There was something about her. Something involving crayons and something horrible and the confusing question of blood, which he had a vampire's craves for, yet did not know why.

"That's all," he finally concluded, moving his head away so that even the bed was out of sight.

``Yes, she makes very good sense, Danny. If we bring him here, it will only make things worse and we don't want that at all, yes?`` She glanced towards Yuuko and nodded, smiling softly before looking back towards the boy, her eyes holding curiousity. She wish she could understand why Danny hated the man so much.

The nurse nodded again, a thing she was seeming to pick up and looked between the two patients, staring towards the sedated girl on the bed every once and a while. Midna hoped she would be okay, but she would probably be out for a long time since the girl seemed small and the sedations so strong.

``If I could, I would go and find him right now but I'm not sure that would be the best idea at the moment. The best idea for now might be to start figuring out other things,`` she commented, lifting her arms to cross over her chest.

It took a lot of effort on Danny's part and several moments of silence, but he finally managed to unclench his fists and sigh, looking away from Dani.

"Figuring out other things..." His voice came out fatigued, as though his short outburst had exhausted him of energy. "Other things like what? Like where Vlad is right now?" Danny had a pretty good idea. Now that he was out of the Fenton household, it was very likely that Vlad had invaded the home, taken his mother by storm, and killed his father. And Jazz...was probably in her corner ignoring all of it. He wouldn't be surprised.

"The media could tell us where that man is. For now, it's better to tend to Danielle, isn't it?" Yuuko asked.

She frowned yet again, bringing her hand up to rest her thumb and index finger against her chin, trying to think about what she was suppose to do to help these two, but she couldn't quite put her finger on it.

``I believe Yuuko is right, Danny. Perhaps it is best to take care of Danielle right now and make sure that if her father does come around, we don't let him anywhere near her or vice versa,`` she paused, clearing her throat and lowering her arms now. ``That would be for the best, yes?``
