Summary: Dani's memories came back. She's not handling them well.

The nurse continued her brisk walk down the hallway, hands clenched at her side and a scowl set on her face. Now, she wasn't angry at the two patients, but she was worried. She wasn't sure how to deal with a patient that was acting this way, since it was only her second day here, but she would figure it out easily. Very easily.

Once she reached the room she was looking for, she stopped in front of the door then grasped onto the door handle and pushed the door open, stepping into the room quickly yet silently. Midna went right to work, checking her bag for everything that she might need. If she had to rush the girl to the ER, then she wanted to be sure it would be possible with no problems.

She stepped towards the girl that was curled on the bed, stopping when she was only a few feet away and glancing towards the other woman in the room, her red eyes flashing slightly. ``You must be Yuuko,`` she commented.

"I am." Yuuko said, still looking at Dani. "She's been awake all night. It was a little after our other roommate late that she ended up in this state." She explained. "She'll lash out if you get too close. She looks terrified of anyone who gets close."

Dani whimpered, burying her face against her knees, hands moving to the back of her head, the sleeve riding up on the top, exposing the old scars from what looked like burns and glass. More of an explosion affect then made on purpose.

Midna sighed heavily, fighting off the urge to screech like she did sometimes. She couldn't do that since she was in a room with patients and it could frighten them, but later, she just might have to do it. This was frustrating already.

She lifted her hand and rested it against her forehead, as if she had a headache. After a few moments, the two toned girl lowered her hand and brushed her hair out of her face, eyeing the scars on Dani's arm before reaching out to take hold of her wrist, not caring if she was lashed out at. She could handle it because she was stronger than she looked.

``How long as she had those scars?`` she questioned, eyes still looking over the markings curiously.

Dani smacked away her hand, jerking away as soon as she came within an inch of her. "NO! I CAN'T LEAVE!" She shouted, looking up at Midna fearfully.

"They were scars long before she came here. She usually hides them." Yuuko said, tensing up. Dani wasn't reacting well at all.

The nurse held tight to the girl's wrist, not too much because she didn't want to hurt the patient, but enough so that she couldn't be pushed off. This Dani girl seemed like she would be stronger, but perhaps fear was changing that?

``Usually? Do you mean that this is the first time you've seen them?`` She looked back at the smaller girl, a worried look crossing her face before she smiled softly, lifting her other hand to touch Dani's hair. ``It's okay, Danielle.``

"No, I've seen them before. She just doesn't like people seeing them and would be quick to hide them." Yuuko answered.

Dani stared at Midna's hand on her arm, her breathing starting to become shallow. "STOP IT!" She shouted, swatting away the hand on her hair, struggling to get away. "I CAN'T GO! I CAN'T GO! DADDY WILL FIND ME IF I GO! DADDY WILL PUNISH ME!" She screamed, tugging on her arm to get free.

``I see,`` she murmured, staring back at the girl's arm and frowning once more. The girl really did seem like she was terrified or being punished for some reason.

Midna pulled her hand away from Dani's hair before it could get smacked, a light glint coming to her eye. ``Danielle, if you don't calm down, I'm going to have to take drastic measures and sedate you,`` she paused, reaching up to take hold of the girl's other arm, holding them both at her sides now.

``You wouldn't want that, now would you?``

Dani stared at Midna with wide eyes, going completely motionless. "...please don't, daddy...I don't want to go again..I don't want to look different again...I don't want to lie daddy...." She asked in a quiet voice.

Yuuko looked up at this, frowning. "So that's what they were..."

She blinked quickly, watching how the girl went still before she shook her head, lifting her hand to touch Dani's hair again. ``Danielle, are you okay? No one is going to hurt you,`` she whispered, trying to keep calm.

When she heard Yuuko's voice again, Midna looked up, staring over towards her and tilting her head curiously. ``Who's they? If you know something I dont, you should tell me if you want to help this girl.``

"Please daddy...I don't want to change again..." Dani whispered, tears forming in her eyes. "I don't want to be different again...I don't want to change..." She pleaded.

"I don't think she knows they're there. Marks behind her ears. Cut scars. I've heard those could be signs of...plastic surgery." Yuuko commented, watching Dani.

Dani flinched. "Daddy! Please don't change me again! I'll be a good girl!" She wailed, grabbing Midna's arms.

"...she doesn't like looking like anyone else. She bears a similarity to another patient and she hates people bringing it up." Yuuko added.

Plastic surgery? Has this girl been changed without her own consent? She scowled at the thought, shaking her head before her eyes widened when her arms were grabbed, head tilting again. ``Danielle, your daddy isn't here.``

Midna moved barely, sitting down on the bed on her knees and moving her arms to place one underneath the girl's head, the other resting on her arm. She didn't want her to hurt herself.

``Who is it that she looks like then?`` Her arm held Dani securely, the hand holding her shoulder and the other lifting her wrist so she could look over the scars once more. This was horrible.

"Daniel Fenton. She has no memory of him and he says he doesn't know her either." Yuuko said.

"Daddy isn't here...but daddy is....is always there..." Dani whispered, looking at her arm, seeming to just see the scars for the first time. "...the glass...the glowing green...." she whispered and gasped. "NO! NO! I BROKE IT! DADDY WILL KNOW!" She shouted, fighting against Midna. "I HAVE TO GO! DADDY CAN'T KNOW I SAW THEM! HE CAN'T KNOW I KNOW THEY'RE ALIVE!" She cried, trying to break free.

``Fenton,`` she repeated the last name, making a mental to look for the boy when she had more free time. Perhaps he knew something about the girl too, or maybe he didn't. It would still be helpful to ask and maybe see how much he looked like Dani.

When the girl started screaming, Midna couldn't help but take a drastic measure, holding the girl's arms down at her sides again and shooting a look towards Yuuko. ``I'm going to have to sedate her,`` she started, making sure to keep her hold firm on Dani's arms. ``Would you help by holding her?``

She didn't want to sedate the girl, but she found that she had no other choice but to do so.

"No! No! I have to run away! Dad will kill me if he knows I know about mommy and my brothers! Let me go!" Dani screamed, kicking and trying to break free. "I HAVE TO RUN AWAY!"

Yuuko watched Dani. To report her was something anyone could do. To hold her down at this point...with her reactions, could change things. "I can't..." Yuuko said.
