Summary: Dani's memories came back. She's not handling them well.

``Yes, she makes very good sense, Danny. If we bring him here, it will only make things worse and we don't want that at all, yes?`` She glanced towards Yuuko and nodded, smiling softly before looking back towards the boy, her eyes holding curiousity. She wish she could understand why Danny hated the man so much.

The nurse nodded again, a thing she was seeming to pick up and looked between the two patients, staring towards the sedated girl on the bed every once and a while. Midna hoped she would be okay, but she would probably be out for a long time since the girl seemed small and the sedations so strong.

``If I could, I would go and find him right now but I'm not sure that would be the best idea at the moment. The best idea for now might be to start figuring out other things,`` she commented, lifting her arms to cross over her chest.

It took a lot of effort on Danny's part and several moments of silence, but he finally managed to unclench his fists and sigh, looking away from Dani.

"Figuring out other things..." His voice came out fatigued, as though his short outburst had exhausted him of energy. "Other things like what? Like where Vlad is right now?" Danny had a pretty good idea. Now that he was out of the Fenton household, it was very likely that Vlad had invaded the home, taken his mother by storm, and killed his father. And Jazz...was probably in her corner ignoring all of it. He wouldn't be surprised.

"The media could tell us where that man is. For now, it's better to tend to Danielle, isn't it?" Yuuko asked.

She frowned yet again, bringing her hand up to rest her thumb and index finger against her chin, trying to think about what she was suppose to do to help these two, but she couldn't quite put her finger on it.

``I believe Yuuko is right, Danny. Perhaps it is best to take care of Danielle right now and make sure that if her father does come around, we don't let him anywhere near her or vice versa,`` she paused, clearing her throat and lowering her arms now. ``That would be for the best, yes?``

All he could do was sigh and admit defeat. No matter how much he wanted to punch Vlad's face in...he wasn't here, and there was nothing to be done about it. Slowly, he forced himself to relax.

"Can I help?" he muttered begrudgingly. "Take care of her, I mean."

Yuuko looked at Danny, for once her expression was surprised. "You...want to help take care of Danielle?"

Midna blinked quickly in half shock, staring towards Danny before a bright smile crossed her face, her hands coming up to clasp together in a bit of excitement. ``Of course you can help watch her, but I must say that if I find that either of you harm her, do not think I won't come and take care of you both,`` she unlatched her hands, pointing towards Danny then at Yuuko, a stern look on her face. ``Understand?``

She lowered her hands afterwards, stepping over towards the door with a flourish and placing her hand on the doorknob, holding it tightly in her fingers. ``I will check on you guys a bit later and I do hope that Dani will wake up and be okay. If anything happens, please don't hesitate to come to me.``

"Yeah, I wanna help her," he grumbled. "She knew Vlad..." He was going to say that no one should have to suffer from living with that man. Danny could barely stand him in his home for a few seconds--living with him every day for years would have driven him crazy. Well, crazier.

He nodded to Midna and stared at the girl on the couch.

"I would never hurt Danielle." Yuuko said, studying Danny. So it seemed things have changed...

[midnaoftwilight]

``Then I will leave you both to tend to her,`` she turned and lifted her hand, resting it against her chest and bowing to the two for a moment then turning back to the door. She once more grabbed the handle, wondering if it would be okay for her to leave or not.

Midna sighed; she would just have to trust Yuuko and Danny to watch over Danielle and if anything happened to the girl, she would know who might have hurt her and she would tell security to check the cameras.

She smiled in a determined way and pushed the door open, stepping out into the hall and shutting the door afterwards, heading off back towards her office to possibly wait for her next assignment.
