Feeling very scheduled at the moment. The next week is going to go fast. I am hanging on to my Google Calendar for dear life. It's great that it's Friday, don't get me wrong, but it feels less like a break than usual.

Most of my pictures from thanksgiving did not turn out, which is sad, it was a lovely affair. In addition to my mother, her housemate, myself and the boy, we had professors and students and small children, a good number for whom it was a first American thanksgiving experience. I think we did okay on the introduction.

Friday Tyler made me soup, then we grilled things, saw people, ate pie.

Yesterday Heather and I visited the newly de-toothed Christina and ate leftover pie and watched Jurrasic Park. I had forgotten how cool dinosaurs were, apparently. They are awesome.

Another good day at work yesterday - went to the Baltimore Area Convention and Visitors Association annual meeting. Listened to people talk about baltimore's bright future as a tourism destination (lowest murder rate in 30 years!) and ate free cheese and fruit ( Read more... )

I said there was talk about starting a book club. Sometimes talk turns into action. Well, more realistically in my case sometimes talk turns into poking someone else to take action, but whatever.
