Weekend update: Life's nice
Friday Tyler made me soup, then we grilled things, saw people, ate pie.
Yesterday Heather and I visited the newly de-toothed Christina and ate leftover pie and watched Jurrasic Park. I had forgotten how cool dinosaurs were, apparently. They are awesome.
Went to my first Roller Derby match Saturday night. In case you were unaware, Roller Derby is fantastic. There's tacos and beer, girls in hotpants crashing into each other on skates, costumes, good music, and hilarious nicknames for all. There was a wedding. Tyler's friend won a bike. There was a sexy pirate. Possibly a couple of 'em. My personal favorite was the lone black ref named Justice Feelgood Marshall. But I am a giant dork.
Today we ate free burritos (coupons obtained at Roller Derby - yet another thing about it that was great) and then wandered the BMA sculpture garden.
Now doing laundry and watching House.
