(Along those lines, however, is it worth mentioning to the cops that a diamond ring had recently been purchased, at that at least someone knew that?)

Thanks! I am pretty sure my eyes still look a lot like that.

I'm pretty sure they didn't *know* there was a diamond ring. They clearly planned to take a bunch of stuff. They almost got extremely lucky, but I'm pretty sure they had no idea coming in.

wow! your first picture reminds me a lot of the picture roddy took of me shortly after our engagement. same happy, giddy look in the eyes :)

congrats you guys! i'm glad to hear you had some stunningly good news to trump the bad stuff. and really ... you DO have a story to tell the kids.

I find that first picture funny because I have eyeliner on, but no mascara. I was halfway through getting ready to head out when Tyler called me over to read email, and didn't think about primping again for quite a while. Apparently eyelashes make a difference in photos. :p

Balance is a bitch, but it's working out okay.
