I have decided to let Dominic stay another year in Kindergarten. I thought about it, and prayed about it, and I think I am okay with it. I am just bugged by their assumption that they know best for my kid. We have decided on a school for Dominic. School of the Woods Montessori. It is a half day program that lasts from 830am to 1130am. Not too bad. 3 hours a day. It will give him something to do, kids to play with everyday, and still plenty of time with me and Jules to go to the park, or zoo, or museum or whatever ( Read more... )

Dominic has been sobbing for the last hour because he is going to be an old man someday. It began when he was practicing "flip-flopping" (basically a half hand stand).
