Tonight as I stood outside smoking a cigarette, and alternately swerving away from the june bugs dive-bombing into my hair I thought about a quote by someone, I cant remember who, that Maria read to me years ago. It went something like "How many times, in a life time will we look up and experience the full moon..maybe 10 maybe 20..but we approach these, and many other things, as if they are infinite and immeasurable".
I definitely do that. I want to learn to live fully in the now, and to appreciate and savor everything. Every conversation that my children want to have with me, every interaction, every hug, every smile...
