The fact that I feel as though my coworkers and supervisors discourage me from doing my job.
I'm now spending most of my days as a reciever instead of a feeder, so I'm at the back of the machine sorting clean and folded linens and doing one last QC check instead of at the front, playing ( Read more... )

I'd say I'm alive. And I am, even. Good news, yeah? Yeah.

My craptastic job is exactly that. The only perk is that I'm getting a paycheck and I'm riding a bike for an hour a day, 5 days a week, and am therefore getting a good deal of exercise.

Started my new job at the linens place Tuesday. I was right: It is sucktastic. Though not as sucktastic as I anticipated. Yet. The work itself is unfulfilling in the extreme. First off: I do believe my toe is broken. Can't be badly, though. There reallly isn't much in the way of bruising, but if I wander around with it untaped things feel neither right nor well. So. Broken. Bummer. I hate having tape wrapped around my toes.
