Banning LJ users
Does anyone know if it is possible to ban a user in such a way that their posts to communities that you belong to don't show up on your friends page? To clarify: I don't want to get rid of the community, just this specific person's posts. -

I just bought tickets for the kids and I to see Kansas w/ the MSU Symphony in Bozeman, MT!
It is going to be SO MUCH FUN. Bozeman is only about 4 hours away, but we've never been before so we're going to make a weekend of it. We'll stay at a nice-ish hotel w/ a pool (as opposed to our usual "I can't drive another mile" places) and see if we can't ( Read more... ) -

Two interesting things this week.
On Wednesday at the mall I was walking behind two women. They were holding hands and just generally being affectionate. I was delighted. Despite this being a smallish conservative town (in Idaho, no less) they felt comfortable being affectionate with each other in public.

Oh. My. Goodness. Gracious. I just found out why Fox has always been so against learning a foreign language. All the way back to taking Spanish at Discovery and then at TEC, then French in PACE and now Foreign Language in Junior High- he has always hated it and gotten really worked up, sometimes to the point of hysteria even though he's always been ( Read more... ) -

This evening my 10 year old daughter informed me that she had named one of her stuffed animals Azazel.
