Two interesting things this week.

On Wednesday at the mall I was walking behind two women. They were holding hands and just generally being affectionate.  I was delighted. Despite this being a smallish conservative town (in Idaho, no less) they felt comfortable being affectionate with each other in public.

Last Friday I fried my keyboard. I spilled water on it. Water. I have know people who've spilled soda on their keyboards and not had a problem. February 1999, I used my tax return to buy a brand new Maytag washer and dryer. Even on sale, they were not cheap. Let me just say that I have been unhappy with my washing machine , pretty much from day one. That thing has been nothing but trouble.
