In fact, sometimes there is more than one of him. Kinda creepy, right? That and his sheer lack of hesitation in killing the enemy too.
But anyway, feel free to run into him anywhere, he really can be about anywhere since there will be more than one of him thanks to his abilities. Need some help fighting? Need a rescue? Any non-combatants need help?]
[ooc: If you have a thread planned for the 19th already, commenting here is fine. Just not open for anything else that day due to accident that will be happening.]

...but that means the two remaining still need to deal with the five elites on their own unless reinforcements should up. But that shouldn't be too difficult, right? It's not as if they haven't dealt with groups of enemies in the past, even if these are a bit different from the people back at home.]

For now, Leonhardt will go ahead and have another shadow appear. 3 against 5 is far better odds and if the Elites assume it's an illusion they will be in a world of hurt fast.
And then he'll quickly cast Earth Guard on Joshua too. May as well let his not-brother be protected from harm.]

When that's done with... well, the logical thing to do would be to try to handicap how quickly the elites can act, right? And a fairly effective way to do that is to make use of Evil Eye in order to attempt to slow them down and do some damage at the same time. Hopefully that'll delay their first action a little bit.]

Of course, spells cast from items do not offer quite the same control as natural magic. Please do not worry too much if his Sleep, Poison or Flood hits you. He can heal that, and he'll even add in a few protection spell for free.]

Luckily, everyone around her is also asleep. This gives him enough time to take out an alarm clock and use it on her. He even scans an enemy with his other hand as he does.]

[In which we can assume the various picking up of strays? Threads for Melaka and Gambit joining in and general scouting here, in various ways?]
[ Day 2 ]
[In which there is a small. Cave-in. And Rogue gets an owie. Somehow.]

Watching the backs of the two X-Men hasn't been too terrible for the most part, but now he's gotten into a tight enough corner that he needs to charge up his bo to knock his attacker back. The scuffle is easily ruining the stealthy surveillance he's managed so far.
Not that he needs any help, but the fight might sound a little worse than it is if it's echoing up the tunnel.]

You stay put, yeah? I'll check this out.
[Without giving time for argument, Kurt will quickly bamf away, reappearing on the ceiling above where Gambit is fighting. He could jump in now... but it doesn't look like he really needs it. He only lingers a moment to make sure Gambit isn't going to get himself killed before returning to where he was.]
It looks like we have a Cajun on our tails. We could probably lose him now if we wanted.

[She cuts off her epithet and glances back towards that sound.]
Is he on his own?

[Pao-lin's out there getting down and dirty with the rest of the offensive forces. She can be found in any area of the mine, usually distinguishable by her neon blue lightning attacks and her nimble, flowing acrobatics as she weaves around enemies, striking to disable them or knock them unconscious before hopefully tagging them. If she's in a more open area, you'll find her using her Hero staff, but in closer quarters she'll have switched to her butterfly knives, her nunchaku, or just her bare hands (well, okay, she's got gloves on and is also sporting her brass knuckles).
Also, she may possibly suddenly swoop into one of your fights and take out that Third Party jerk you were tussling with. It's not kill-stealing, dammit -- it's kill-assisting.]

[Suddenly, Third Party soldiers! Hundreds(?) of them ( ... )

Oi, are you this Caesar fella'?

Sorry I'm late! I was checking up on a few friends here.

But she's here now, informed of the situation, trailing beside him, and that's all there is to it. The chef doesn't spend long wallowing in self-indulged pity. Instead, he keeps his senses alert for any approachers as they make their way down a dimly lit path. They've been lucky so far - and by virtue of being Straw Hats, that won't last.]

So for now she's trying to find something familiar, maybe even someone else, and definitely not any Third Party. She clutches her stave, edging around, listening. There was a corner up ahead. She should probably try to remember what Cass and the others did, in that one cave while they were in Otherworld. Even though this place really was very, very different from there.
They'd... they'd look around a corner before just walking, right? So... maybe try just... sort of peeking a little first?]

... And then he sees a head poke around the corner, in a way that doesn't strike him as malicious. Um.] ... Oi, who's there? [He's taking a chance, calling out like this, but the element of surprise has been stripped away on both sides.]
