Watching the backs of the two X-Men hasn't been too terrible for the most part, but now he's gotten into a tight enough corner that he needs to charge up his bo to knock his attacker back. The scuffle is easily ruining the stealthy surveillance he's managed so far.
Not that he needs any help, but the fight might sound a little worse than it is if it's echoing up the tunnel.]

You stay put, yeah? I'll check this out.
[Without giving time for argument, Kurt will quickly bamf away, reappearing on the ceiling above where Gambit is fighting. He could jump in now... but it doesn't look like he really needs it. He only lingers a moment to make sure Gambit isn't going to get himself killed before returning to where he was.]
It looks like we have a Cajun on our tails. We could probably lose him now if we wanted.

[She cuts off her epithet and glances back towards that sound.]
Is he on his own?

[But. As much as he doesn't like the guy, they probably SHOULD help.]
... we're going to go help him, aren't we?

She adjusts the radio in her ear.]
Make sure the passageway's clear while we double back.

[He sets a hand on her shoulder. Not the reassuring brotherly shoulder grab, but the 'let's teleport and not bother with this walking nonsense' shoulder grab.]

Right now, I think any option that cuts down travel time would be best. [Better to get things done quickly when there's a chance somebody could get killed down here.]

[Taking Melanie's shoulder as well, he'll BAMF the three of them just outside of where Gambit's little brawl is. He holds back, though. Rogue's in charge, so he'll wait for her order.]

Then drop us outside the room. [Coming on them in the middle of a fight like this is a bad idea, but once BAMF'd in, it's time to go guns blazing. That is, if there are any members of the TP left to fight.]

But as Gambit finishes collapsing and pocketing his bo again, the look on his face isn't the usual cocky grin or even feigned innocence... he just looks mildly irritated. He's been trying to cover your backs from here, guys, turning around and coming right back into danger defeats the purpose. They don't need to be worrying about him.
Shaking his head, he turns his attention to dusting off a sleeve. That and his off-handed tone are about as good a cover for the flicker of annoyance as he can manage for now.]
Y'all missed the party.
[One of the TP members gets a nudge with his boot.]

[She glances at Kurt and Melanie.] You two mind taggin' these while I have a word with Gambit?
Reply
[Kurt is keeping a careful eye out for any Third Party goons in the area, but it seems quiet. So he'll start flipping the soldiers over for tagging them and applying the strips of plastic handcuffs he brought with them. He doesn't exactly trust the Malnosso to pick them up in a timely manner.]
Reply
[Go ahead and have a word, Rogue. Melanie will just follow after Kurt and tag the remaining soldiers while keeping an eye out for anything else.]
Reply
As Kurt and Melanie go to tag the trail of TP Gambit has left behind, the Cajun just raises his eyebrows at Rogue. Silent acknowledgement that he's listening, or will follow if she wants to get further out of earshot.]

Once they are a ways away, her voice is a low undertone.] What the heck do you think you're doin'?
