She parked just a little ways away from them. She had already figured out about where they were since she could hear them. She thought this suspicious person might be Eric, but somehow she didn't actually expect to find him. She pulled out her gun upon hearing the word monster. She didn't go head first into a fight like she normally would, since all she saw was three men and she knew Eric wasn't the monster, so it had to be one of the other two.

"I don't know about forgiveness, but I know what it's like to have something so horrible happen that it stays in your dreams. To tell you the truth, they don't go away for me. I struggle with it every night." She clenches her fist, so tightly if she had been holding anything it would have been crushed. "For me, it doesn't matter that I dream about it, because I have to deal with it while I'm awake too."

At least he didn't have to trick her like he did Sookie.
"To be honest, I don't do forgiveness anymore," Eric said back, having calmed since separating from Godric. The shield of asshole came right back real quick, "Nightmares haven't happened in about... five hundred years either. I don't even know if I dream anymore."

The whirlwind of guilt began to be buried under exhaustion, though he knew with the connection that he and Eric had forged through the sharing of blood that none of what he felt needed to be spoken, something he was very thankful for, if only because putting any of it into words was a very difficult thing for him to do.
Of course, the other emotions could be sensed as well, he was sure. Gratitude, liking, among other things.
