Completely ignoring the warnings from Ciel, Eric wandered out into the night. He had spent his days locked tight beneath his bed from the sun, and his nights still locked inside the building. Reno had proved a good source of nutrition daily to keep from feeling the urge, but if there was something the man hated, it was being stuck in one place.
He needed to run, to jump to fly and explore. The dangers didn't scare him. He thought that as long as he stuck to his primal instincts, he'd be alright. He outran almost everything that dared cross him, so there was no real worry for him. This had been his third night out again exploring, not caring for the dangers about him.
It was when something familiar crossed his nose. Quickly he stopped in his tracks and turned his head to the scent. There... he had seen the familiar off white shirt and short black hair.
... no. He was dead.
Rushing off he followed the figure, not thinking of the danger he would be in if it lead him further outside of the city, where the darkness of the town really lingered. It turned another corner, and he caught the look in the man's eye. It was...
"Goderic..." he whispered at first, but rushed after him again. "Goderic! Goderic!!!!!"
