Trippin'
This is going to be an interesting week.
Driving out to Phoenix for SabotenCon. Dorian is still staying with Angel. I haven't made this westerly trek for some time now. It's going to be difficult not to make the extra few hours' drive to Vegas, knowing I have the time to do so.

Trash
I am at the very end of a tedious job... there are 4 boxes of various laundries to wash (most of which is for donation. 8 boxes of trash, 6 of which are burnable. I need about 6 more bins to move the remaining kitchen things and some papers into the smaller building. Trying to avoid any cardboard boxes, but there are 2 in there currently with some ( Read more... ) -

Just another stepping stone to herd the fearful into greater submission. More liberties will soon be lost in the name of keeping the citizens safe.
Wasn't homeland security supposed to prevent this kind of thing? (No, of course I don't believe that for a minute...but the fearful masses won't even think of this...just accept more pablum.)

Dream: Weaving
Dreamt I was weaving (a basket, I think: not fabric) in an Indian campsite.
The man I sat next to was quiet, but we had a small conversation about Knowing things. I don't remember what it was he Knew, but there was a great deal of unspoken understanding between us.
The overall tone was grim. Not necessarily negative, but certainly not peppy.

Moving
I am so over this moving business.
In other news, sold EVERYTHING I intended to sell today. The rest is to be picked up tomorrow at 5, and I have a backup plan just in case. There are things for Goodwill too, but if the family coming tomorrow wants them, even better.

Yesterday y Today
Noel & I came up with a hilarious idea @ Skyfall yesterday.
Just bought the domain name for it. Now to do nothing with it, because Noel & I rarely follow through. But maybe we will.
Ian has a Kickstarter idea for his book which is brilliant. And we came up with a special shirt/tote/poster/sticker design for an Aardvark-centric one. But we still need ( Read more... ) -
Good Day
Had a good day today, in surprising ways.
1) Got Michele's deposit done early in the day, AND got paid for OhayoCon including a fair bonus (!!).
2) Brother Noel wanted to do lunch, so I milled about Huntsville. We had Cheddar's, which was new for me and pretty darn good. He & Jessica seem to be doing better, and we're going to go out Saturday and ( Read more... ) -

OK, that tantrum is over. 8 hours on the clock, so time to go play ponies and Uno and read to Boy and watch funny cartoons and cuddle before bedtime.
