Nutritionists and Eating Disorders
What is with nutritionists and loving sting cheese and almonds?!?
And why is it that "normal" people don't get in trouble for not eating when they are too busy to eat or simply not hungry, and when I do, I must be restricting?

City by Clifford D Simak
Old sci-fi is interesting because while some of the more basic concepts are outdated (cold war fears, home and family life, etc), the prevailing goal, lesson or idea of the author remains.

Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger
This is probably the seventh time I've read this book. At least.
It's also the first time that is was more depressing than uplifting. That probably has to do with my no longer feeling utterly alone and angry with the world.
Still, it is a great novel.

Thinking about the future...
I'm seriously considering getting certified as a yoga teacher. The only thing is, it takes a good chuck of money ($2200-3000) to take a good course. And time. But, really, it would be a great job as I finish my B.S. (1 more year) and my M.S. (2 years ( Read more... )
