Today's Mother's Day and I can't think of a better day to conclude the regular gratitude post.

I went to the theatre again last night to see Romeo & Juliet. Very fitting for a Valentine's weekend, right? This production reminded me a bit of the Baz Luhrman film, which is not a bad thing at all!

I went to the theatre with my mum last night to see a play called Two Worlds Hotel. I hadn't heard of it before and the description sounded rather dismal but it wasn't. It was really interesting, even funny in some moments, and it made me think. I liked it a lot! The next play we're going to see is actually next Saturday. It's one we should've seen ( Read more... )

We are heading into a week of below zero temperatures, day and night. It's going to be so nice out... I'm just hoping for some more snow. I can't believe we're halfway through January, though! A short one again this week. Ever since I returned from London on Thursday night, I've been very busy with Christmas prep. I love doing it, it makes me really happy, but there definitely IS a lot to do. I'll definitely manage but there is definitely some heavy planning involved.
