Yesterday I did something I hadn't done or a long time: I didn't set an alarm clock. I woke up at about 9 am because the birds were singing loudly, the sun was shining and it was shaping up to be the most beautiful day. It was truly perfect. I'm not at all fussed about Easter. I'm not religious so I don't really celebrate or decorate. I enjoy the days off and I love spring but I find that the decorations for spring are often very lacking. I went to the theatre again last night to see Romeo & Juliet. Very fitting for a Valentine's weekend, right? This production reminded me a bit of the Baz Luhrman film, which is not a bad thing at all!

I went to the theatre with my mum last night to see a play called Two Worlds Hotel. I hadn't heard of it before and the description sounded rather dismal but it wasn't. Last Saturday, we made our annual trip to the Pumpkin world. I really loved it there last year but this year it was somehow even better. It's a really nice place and such a wonderful country escape - and they have an enormous amount of pumpkins there, which is always a good thing.
