I normally ignore political mail - it's such a waste of paper and money - but my fiance Nick got a card in the mail from a group backing one of the Senatorial candidates in my state that is just SO offensive I have to post it.

I cannot describe how stressful work is now. My department only has 3 people in it - myself, the director, and this other dude Will. Guess what? Hmmm. So, we're not going to have hard alcohol at my wedding. I'm trying to decide if this will cause a major coup among the more alcoholic members of the family. There will be plenty of wine and beer for people to booze it up, if they choose. The "no hard liquor" thing came about because it's much cheaper not to have a fully stocked bar.
