Theresa and I have set our plans for our summer vacation this year.  We'll be staying in a vacation rental in Jim Thorpe, PA, in the Southern Pocono mountains.  Leaving the Ottawa area early on June 26, and returning late on July 4.  We'll spend at least a day or two outside of Spring City, PA, exploring and photographing ( Read more... )

Theresa's portable hdd (which contains ALL of her photos) has quit.  It's a 120GIG SATA hdd that's being run via USB.  The fan turns on, but the drive won't be recognized by winblows XP or Vista.  What can we do about it?

I do the stupidest things anyone could ever think of.  Why do I do it?  I don't know.  Perhaps partially because I'm still trying to self destruct?  Who really knows.  All I know is that pretty much as soon as I've done it, I feel like hell about it, because it was dumb, and because it hurts people.
