By the sixth day Lissar is sleeping just enough less that she is bored out of her mind. Her eyes still hurt, and daylight always hurts so the flu-ache on top of it is simply miserable, but she has more energy and she's managing to keep food down better than she had been.

Dr. Sybil is still wearing scrubs and a face mask, but after taking Lissar's temperature and looking over Ratchet's scans she says, "Alright, Miss Lissar. I think that some of your friends can come and visit you today. Around midnight Dr. Sybil came into the room to check on Lissar, and then quietly woke the other woman up to explain the basics of IVs. By the third day Lissar feels far, far weaker than she did the prior two. On the other hand she's been able to keep ginger ale down somewhat better than anything else, and she's either gotten used to aching or aches a little bit less. Ash, Ob, and the new puppies have been left with Ratchet; after one quick internet search on the fragility of puppies he's not likely to risk them.
