Around midnight Dr. Sybil came into the room to check on Lissar, and then quietly woke the other woman up to explain the basics of IVs. The bag hooked up is a normal saline solution, and Dr. Sybil's use of gloves when setting it up makes Lissar relax enough that she barely feels the needle

And to a sudden looming black shape at the window blotting out most of the southern California sun. Of course, she's probably used to that by now.

She is used to it, and welcomes it, "Greetings, beloved." she says in a somewhat stronger voice. Her temperature is still high, but not as high, and the quality of her skin looks a lot better; less dry and papery. "How are you holding up?"

"I was gonna ask you the same question," says Ironhide. "I'm doing all right. How're you handling things?"

[lissla_lissar]

"I feel better. Not well, but better." she sets the fork down and reaches toward the window with her now-free hand. It falls short, but she's certain that he gets the intent.

[autocommander]

Prime's face appears at the window.

"Feeling better, Lissar?"

[lissla_lissar]

"I am, yes." Lissar says, smiling out at Prime and setting her fork down, "Quite a bit...and Ironhide seems rather less stressed to hear it."

[autocommander]

"Unsurprising. It's good to hear. What have you been up to?"

[lissla_lissar]

"Mostly sleeping." Lissar admits, "I was woken recently to try this..." she picks her fork up and pokes the Jello again, "It does not taste bad, but it is very strange."
