Winter has returned here and at a time when we should have had trees in bloom, we have massive snow. There is so much snow, the local polar bears have come out ;)

exciting times!
There are still wild cats in the woods in my county!!! Just an hour or so from my town!!! Usually we are famous for bears and wild boars. Oh, and the very rare protected wild goats. But wild cats are awesome too! Look at its paws!!! How cute they can be!

Star Wars post
Last night I went and saw Star Wars. The Last Jedi. I really enjoyed it. It really transported me away from daily stresses. To me it was the best Star Wars movie sofar. But I am not a huge fan and connaisseuse of the franchise, I haven't even watched the first (chronologically) three episodes as I had no interest in seeing prodigy Jedi kids ( Read more... ) -

Christmas tree
Today I decorated the tree. The cats were somewhat interested in the boxes, but they don't show any sign of wanting to climb it. It's a little tree anyway. They wouldn't have any room there.

walking in Bucharest
This will be a massive picspam of views seen while walking in Bucharest. The weather was dreary, overcast with occasional drizzle. The camera is a phone camera so don't expect anything spectacular, but you will get a good sense of how the city looks like, at least in the old center area.

St. Nicholas market
Here I have a few pics from the St. Nicholas or Nikolaus market from Bucharest, organised this month by the Museum of the Romanian Peasant. There is such a thing! And it's pretty cool to visit if you are ever in the area.

graveyard puppies
Today I went to the cemetery for the All Saints' Day ceremonies. Yesterday I cleaned up the family grave of fallen leafs and chestnuts (and scratched my hands - why I never remember to get gloves?) and I transferred some potted chrysanthemums to the ground.
