Anyone have good teach-yourself type books for Bulgarian, especially if it includes sound? Pleaaaaaase? :D

Hi! I'm working on translating the phrase "welcome to my web page" into several languages that I'm learning, and I was hoping some of you could give some feedback and/or corrections to what I've got so far.

I especially need help/feedback in the Russian, Bulgarian, Greek and Arabic translations! :)

When should one prefer doubled prepositions and conjunctions със, във instead of с, в?

I am confronted with the need to learn Bulgarian rather speedily - at least some by the end of November. I've studied the Cyrillic characters the language uses (which is most of them) and feel OK with writing them and with their basic pronunciations. Wikipedia has a list of everyday niceties, but can anyone recommend a resource for day-to-day ( Read more... )

I just thought it would be fun to share this funny little animation with everyone.
