Only recently has it dawned on me that it has been months and months since I last had a quasi-depressed period. I had wondered if they would ever stop coming back. I got so bored trying to compile notes for administrative law that I procrastinated by looking up poetry.
I just love that while I'm slaving away through a law subject with the (justified) reputation for being the driest subject, the other half is traipsing around Rome. Enjoying summer. Looking for gelati around the Spanish Steps.

I spend a fair chunk of my time these days reading The Tawny Man trilogy by Robin Hobb. In fact, I have been spending far too much time reading it and not enough time doing productive things. Oh well.

Uni started again...and I retained my diligence for all of one day. Oops. Have been busy though, as it was Zack's birthday yesterday. Poor boy had a crappy day with gloomy weather and spending a lot of the day stuck in peak hour traffic. But he liked my presents so I hope that made it even a little better. :)

Two of my favourite genres of books are classics and fantasy. Haven't really read either for a while, apart from Harry Potter and Twilight. I used to devour fantasy books.

Finally, got to do something at the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre. It's been a while due to exams and general lack of things to do at the Centre. I like being able to make a little difference in someone's life, even something as minor as being a support person and someone who will listen to them for a few hours.
