I am tired. I am weary. I am in a crotchety mood. And it's because of my upstairs neighbor, who has been the bane of my waking and sleeping world for more than a year now.

A HAIKU, or a few, in HER HONOR, with of course, the necessary mention of Frodo )

I mean - I feel your pain. Was very eloquently expressed.

Well, I guess they always say that writers need to have a lot of pain in their lives to properly express themselves, don't they?

She's definitely my source! If this keeps up, just wait until NEXT week---I'll probably be writing a horror novel about her.

You will boil her in Frodo's oil when you come here, right?

I think we need to partay on your porch, with loud screechy laughter. And perhaps spit wads of gum at her. Yeah, that would be good!

I had upstairs neighbors like that a long time ago. My favorite fantasy involved a tiger pit consisting of stakes driven into the floor and a hole cut in the ceiling. I was only there a few months, I don't know how you've stood that for a year. When I gave notice the management said they were being evicted, but I said too late, and by the way my company's not paying any penalties to break the lease. Would rather have paid them than put up with all the lost sleep and aggravation. *pets you, sharpens stakes*

Oh man, stakes!!! I hadn't even thought of that---it would be perfect. Honestly, I keep expecting her to fall through the ceiling at the rate she stomps around. Oh, I know that all upstairs neighbors make noise, but she often drops something so heavy that I jump about ten feet---it freaks me out.

*Most* of the time she's off the porch by 1:00 a.m. or so, so I don't lose sleep over her. But other times... And you know, I can't even enjoy *my* porch, because I'd have to listen to her all the freaking time up there!

ROTFL!

You at least have a sense of humor. I'm afraid I would have gone postal on her by now!

Perhaps you could Mary Sue her--the Fellowship could then use her to distract the Orcs in Moria, or as troll-bait. Or maybe they could throw her to the Wargs...

And having to listen to her as they climb Caradhras would keep them warm, as they seethed in a slow burn...

Oh yes, I personally think the poor things would have jumped off a ledge of Caradhras, just to get away from her!

That voice, that voice... it is *never* silent. Poor sweet Frodo would die from lack of sleep.

That is a lovely evil thought you have, though. :D

Maybe they could just *give* her to the Balrog. Then she could use her voice on it, and it would leap into the abyss to get away from her. Or they could give her to Saruman, and see if *her* voice was more powerful than his...

She's probably look at Sauron and say, "I SEE YOU... " and he'd dissipate in terror. And then we'd have her as the Next Evil Dark Lord of Doom, talking the innocent citizens of Middle-earth to death!

I wish I knew her name, then I could really mentally curse her. *nods*

Oh yes. We shall all go out on the porch---and hopefully she'll be there---and make a ruckus. I wanted to last time, but she wasn't up there, remember? Drat it.

I think we should reenact Frodo giving birth on the porch. Someone should dress up as Frodo with a bulging belly and someone should dress up as Argon and the others can be other hobbits and humans there for encouragement and the person who is dressed up as pregnant Frodo will scream and carry on and Argon will coach through the birth...LOL!
