Coconut creme frappuccino - meh. I don't see what the big deal is, and I'm a total coconut lover. I never even go to Starbucks, because it's shitty and overpriced and I don't even like coffee - but sooo many people have been raving about this frapp.. I decided to see what the fuss was about. My boss. Scheduled a game of bingo and an ice cream social for this afternoon, 1:30-3:00. With 26 kids from the park district plus the residents. She then goes to lunch and then shopping to meet one of our volunteers at Menard's at 1:30. Oh Monday
So normally I'm not one of those people that complains about Mondays. I don't actually mind them most of the time, while it's the beginning of the work week it's my late day at work, so I work 11-7:30 and it kinda extends my weekend because I sleep in until about 8 instead of 6 like other weekdays. I'm so happy it's Friday! And hello, it's gorgeous outside! After 2+ long years of my husband working second shift while I worked first, most of the time 6 days a week when I worked 5, and not seeing each other much, if at all some days, he got a new job.
AND IT'S NORMAL FUCKING HOURS!!

246 days. We've been here for 246 days!! How is that even possible? I feel like my life is stuck in a huge vat of molasses. It sucks having my husband work an opposite shift. My job is 11am-7:30 pm on Monday, and 8-4:30 Tues-Fri. His is 2pm-10pm 6 days a week, and a lot of those days are mandatory overtime so it's 2pm-2am. When do we get to have a ( Read more... ) -
SNOW!
Tomorrow is supposed to bring the biggest blizzard of my lifetime to my area. My husband, roommate and I are making plans for our seemingly inevitable snow day Wednesday!! :) They're calling for 18-24 inches. It's snowing now, but we're only expecting a couple of inches tonight and then it's supposed to start coming down something fierce tomorrow ( Read more... ) -
