(no subject)
My boss. Scheduled a game of bingo and an ice cream social for this afternoon, 1:30-3:00. With 26 kids from the park district plus the residents. She then goes to lunch and then shopping to meet one of our volunteers at Menard's at 1:30. Jen and Betty (my co-workers) had cpr class from 1:30-4:30, and Deb (other co-worker) is on vacation in Vegas.
So this leaves ME to do a job normally done by 3+. Then she asks Little Amber (works with us M&F and in the kitchen the rest of the time) to help when she gets off from the kitchen at 2. Which helps but of course I need help at 1 pm to get residents down there and get bingo set up and of course, my boss didn't bother to put in a work order for the 6 tables I need for bingo. Nor did she tell me there are a whopping 26 fucking kids, cause then I ran out of chairs and had to call the maintenance guy back from a job he was doing across the street, after I told him I didn't need anything after the tables, to get me some chairs while the kids literally stood around looking stupid.
THEN! Bingo is done, Amber and I had scooped 48 bowls of ice cream and started putting syrup on them to get a head start while the kids cleaned up from bingo. Then we were taking orders and we were throwing toppings on and the kids were giving people ice cream. This is when my boss decides to get back from the store and tell us we're doing it ineffectively. Then proceeds to make pure fucking chaos by doing it her way. Wtf.
I'm so frustrated!! Don't leave something like this for me to do solo and then complain about the way I do it!! Honestly!
