I'm lowering my goal to 100k this year. I might have to find a second job so my sister and I have enough money. That also means I might have to wait another year before I move to Portland. Good luck with both the job hunting and your word goal! Maybe next year I'll aspire to more than 50,000, but I figure for my first year I'll set the bar as low as I can LOL

Yeah, my first year, I stuck to 50k too. Good luck with it. It certainly was hard for me my first year but I managed to make it. I'm sure you'll be able to as well.

100K my goodness! Kudos to you for that ambition, esp. with a potential second job.

Best of luck finding another job. When I was a student, I was working two jobs at one point. It might have actually helped my NaNo. I sound like a terrible employee, but I wrote all the time during downtime at work (yay for a customer service oriented job, when there are no customers).

Thank you. My job is very different but I write while I'm working too. My boss doesn't care as long as I get my work done before hand.
