The first day was, overall, a very good day. I managed to hit 10k before the end of the night. I hope day two (today) will be just as well but since it's my niece's birthday, I can't guarantee it.

I'm pretty excited about this Camp NaNoWriMo. I'm hoping that it's going to push my muse to do something. Writing is pretty dry right now but I have a whole novel planned out (sort of). I'm glad I have the first of the July off. Now I'm off to run some errands.

I just finished editing my Nano '10 novel (one of them) and I just used my free proof copy from Createspace for it so I could use it for editing (cheaper than printing out 130 pages). My dad bought my sister and I coats for Christmas but mine was too short in the arms and my sister's was just flat out uncomfortable. So we went out to exchange them but we couldn't find them. I'm lowering my goal to 100k this year. I might have to find a second job so my sister and I have enough money. That also means I might have to wait another year before I move to Portland. I had an appointment with the doctor today. I don't have a tumor (I didn't even know we were looking for one) so that's good. She switched my medicine to a generic brand because my insurance won't cover it. It will be cheaper in the long run so that makes me happy.
