Friday I loaded the updated CNC software to go with my longer X axis.
A bit of tinkering and it worked fine!
I did a large print of a Tiki Head. (no body, no fez) Using the max width.
I need to do a full Tiki with will use most of the new print range.
There was a bit of weirdness at the beginning of the print. the Z - axis (up down) has some minor ( Read more... )

I made another patch last night. The embroider machine seems to be behaving. Running smoothly (as it ever does) with only one thread break when the third snaged. (so not a alignment problem ( Read more... )

I ran the CNC last night with a improvised lid and door on the enclosure. It helped cut down on the noise, not 100% but it helped.

I will need to do something about ventilation though. The box was VERY hot after the print was done.
The fan on the CNC "Brain" is now VERY noisy. Presumably it sucked up some sawdust. :(
