It's always good to reflect at the end of the year and look back at everything with perspective.  Losing my heritage was a burning point to say the least but at least this time I didn't lose any loved ones.  i'm not sure i'll be able to rebuild soon but, time will tell I guess.  There has been a lot of up and downs but isn't that always the case ( Read more... )

Miss you, post more often damnit x

And yeah, Christmas = kids. There have been no kids in my family since me, and as an adult Christmas is very much about relaxing, watching crappy tv movies, and eating. Hopefully we don't even have to go to the in-laws this year and can stay at home just the two of us.

Yup I hear you Luny. I have ill parents atm, so this year it's a real bummer.

Weird how things change whether you like it or not, huh? I guess it's all a matter of perspective - you either accept with it, or wind up losing your mind and get stuck in a black depression.

awh am so sorry about the parents babe and I so sympathise. And yes, this is exactly what I meant, the tough part to chose to accept or not what is going on. I mean sometimes you gotta stand up and fight but quite often, it's best to go with the flow. I try to keep in mind that altho my parents are gone, they still want the best for me, for my family and thus, that's what I go for. Hang in there babe!
