I haven't updated in ages.
I'm in NZ now, arrived a few days ago. I have a nasty cold (thankyou, sick people on aeroplanes, if I had a private jet this sort of thing wouldn't happen).
Nearly over the jetlag now, once my cold is gone I will be a happy bunny. -

Today is the day of FOOD. We're having:
Home made french onion soup with cheesey croutons
Slow roasted pork, cauliflower cheese, roast potatoes, broccoli, carrots, gravy
Crepes suzette and icecream
And, someone has just made me aware of Hot Tub Time Machine. This sounds like the most awesome movie ever!! Hot tub! Time machine! 1980's! John -

Back to the UK tonight, 21 hours in a plane, here I come (ugh!).
Fingers crossed for no screaming kiddies. I do have sleeping pills, thank feck. -

I just pre-ordered the Season 3 dvd of The Big Bang Theory, out in September (though I already have all the current episodes courtesy of the intertubes). I freaking love this show, but didn't start watching until this year because I thought it would be a pile of crap. I've been in Rarotonga (small island in the Cook Islands) for five days, with my parents, brother, and his girlfriend. It was lovely - holyfuckhot, but lovely. The sea was so clear I have been forever spoilt for lesser beaches. We fed the fish one day, tons of them, all different shapes and colours. And blue starfish. Much snorkling was done. I ended up, after much dithering, picking this one because I have lots of cocktail length dresses but nothing full length, and I do have black tie dinners to go to on occasion.
