Today's meme answer will probably not be a surprise to anyone who's read my journal for the past few months.
30 DAYS OF SPARTACUS
Crixus
Crixus, dude. And as much as I loved him in season 1 (especially now that I've been rewatching their lovestory so closely and you could see how he'd been in love with her for a very long time already, which I am a sucker for), he sort of redefined the phrase *Moving Heaven And Earth* to find Naevia and help her to safety, in every sense of the word. From basically turning the Italian countryside inside out to find her, to rescuing her in the mines, to crushing my soul when he was 'mourning' her, to their Epic of all Epic reunions...And then the thing that really got me, his patience and support with her PTSD (which, of course, there wasn't a name for in 73 bce), teaching her to defend herself (not to mention how fucking turned on he seemed to be by seeing her with a sword, no lie) and then the ultimate, standing back as she took her vengeance on Ashur, much as you could see it killed him to do so.
Seriously, SDK, please give them a child and let her live in peace with the baby! I have never needed some semblance of a happy ending more (or been less likely to get one!)
