Okay, here's my deal with triangles. They're mostly awful no? (That's why tomorrow is super hard.) I tend to multi-ship. But as much as I want to insist that Duncan/Veronica/Weevil was a fabulous love triangle (and if the show had given *any* more indication, they'd be filling this slot) that was really only in my mind. (Caught between the boy she thought she always wanted and the boy she never knew she needed...but I digress.) But when a triangle works, it is my FAVORITE THING IN THE ENTIRE WORLD. Anyway, I would not consider a 'triangle' where one side is totally obviously outweighing the other. Also, I need this category to be a true 'triangle', not just '2 love interest options for one character'. The real, honest to goodness greatest triangle of all time, in my opinion? Morgan/Lila/Spencer. Plus it had all sorts of wonderful off-shoots; Audrey, Janessa, Trey...but once again, I digress. So...to that end...
CHUCK/BLAIR/NATE (GOSSIP GIRL)
These three...always seem to come back together. And while, yes, the Chuck/Blair side probably outweighs the Nate/Blair side...Blair will always be drawn back to Nate, and vice versa. Nate and Chuck will always need each other. This is separate from the Non-Judging Breakfast Club thing they have with Serena (which is its own level of other shit) but these three...messy and complicated, and no matter what, never resolved.
