Why Is The Rum Gone?
Such a gross, gray week. Putting me in a horrible mood. I got an idea for a Hathaways/Wallflowers fic today at lunch, and started plotting it out, and I was almost in tears because it would be *that* sad of a fic (and I know most of you have no idea about that fandom, but it's not a terribly tragic fandom at all).
Anyway, another day, another meme...
You know, this *just* came to me, right now. And I'll explain why.
CAPTAIN JACK SPARROW (PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN)
You know, he's not even my favorite character in the movie. So, how does this work? Well, my *favorite character in the movie*, Elizabeth, is just an all-around great character. And she would work in a novel, and she would be a great character if another actress played her, though KK did a wonderful job. Captain Jack wouldn't work in a novel, and he would be...way too much on tv. And nobody ever would have played him as Johnny Depp did- he could have just been a swashbuckling rogue, but instead, it was...genius.
