Gossip Girl is hard with the shipping. I kind of hate that about it.
Hmmm, how so? Because there's so many choices?
Yes, I thought about using the whole foursome, but Chuck/Serena squicks me even though they've really only been family for about twenty minutes (and while it *really* lasted, was about three and a half seconds).
Because Gossip Girl's method of doing couples is throwing spaghetti at the wall and seeing what sticks.
Except for Chuck and Blair. Who I don't really like anymore. So of course they're the one couple that I'm certain of, no matter how much they're tortured between couplings.
I feel like Gossip Girl is going to be the first show I quit this year.

Yeah, I can see that, but I can also see how these characters are more sexually adventurous than, say...One Tree Hill or even Grey's. Like, I'm sure after a while, Blair's going to not give a shit that Chuck slept with Jenny (because seriously, after all dirty skanks he's banged, Little J is the least of her worries). And how Blair is easily cool about Nate/Serena, Nate is cool with Dan/Vanessa...yeah, I guess I see your point.
I agree with you completely on triangles. And actually this is the one I would have picked as well for the reasons you stated and also because no matter what, they still can come back together and be friends.
Oh, and I *love* your summation of the Duncan/Veronica/Weevil triangle! "Caught between the boy she thought she always wanted and the boy she never knew she needed..." YES!
Yes, there are multi-ships that I personally like more than C/B/N, but seriously, they are a great example.

I can see that, if you have a strong preference for Blair/Nate. Me, I'm just a Blair Fan First, so...I don't know, I kind of go where the wind blows with her. I love Blair/Chuck to pieces, but while Blair/Nate was going strong, I was all a-squee about that too. Likewise, when they were angsting, I was right there with them.
I'm kind of with viennawaits on the whole N/B/C triangle. Although, I've been so done with the show that I just tune in from time to time to see what's up with it.
