There's something delightful about having the day off after a big party.  Although there was quite a bit of cleaning to do, it wasn't

Hurrah!  It's my Jason's birthday today, and also (not coincidentally) the day of our Backyard-Warming party --- the first time we're hosting a party since our backyard-rennovation project finally wrapped up (although there's always more work to do).  I'm excited, but I've got some meat to put on the marinade, so I won't dilly-dally long here.

I love when I get asked by a cashier at the local grocery store whether I'm having a party. I guess that the combination of meat, buns, mixers, beer, and plastic cups is a dead giveaway.
